Rose Omeyyade by Atelier Des Ors Perfume. In this intense perfume, Rose Omeyyadek, by Atelier des Ors, famed perfumer Marie Salamagne features the scent of the Damask rose, the most precious flower of the Umayyad dynasty. Launched in 2015, the ancient scent has been captured and updated to create a modern fragrance with a timeless appeal. The top notes are chosen to recreate the aroma of an opening rose. Slightly sweet raspberry combines with piquant and bright pink pepper to enhance and convey the heady rose smell. The middle fixes the floral scent with mildly honey-sweet guaiac wood and slightly mysterious patchouli heart. Tangy brown sugar enhances the heart’s sweetness and adds a hint of magic to the aroma. The base is held together with oriental amber, earthy-nutty agarwood and woody sandalwood. The overall effect is reminiscent of the lavish and perhaps decadent grandeur of the legendary palaces of Umayyad. The fragrance changes in time to mimic the twists and turns of seduction, taking a different path every time it is used.
